Because each product is individually handmade, creations may be similar in style and design, but no two are exactly alike. Each piece carries a unique story behind its craftsmanship. Details are only a reference. 

Each crochet doll was knitted and crocheted in pure cotton with non-toxic materials, by women who participate in workshops in vulnerable areas in Santiago del Estero, Argentina. Today there are 160 women, working in 15 different knitting workshops, who make these dolls. These workshops provide an environment where these women can build their self-esteem, develop their independence, and learn a trade that gives them means to support their families. The workshops belong to Haciendo Camino’s “Trades Program” which trains more than 800 women in various trades. 

"Haciendo Camino" is a civil association that supports eleven thousand low-income families in four provinces. They boost social programs that secure the integral development of children and assist mothers through nutrition and craft workshops. Many of the women have learned to crochet these wonderful handmade dolls.
